Q: Can I eat before yoga class

A: It is best to practice yoga on an empty stomach.  You can have a light snack, like a banana 30 minutes or so before the practice.  It is also better not to drink too much water during the class.

 

Q: What should I wear

A: Come dressed in light, comfortable and loose clothes.  You may bring socks to wear during relaxation, although yoga is practiced barefoot.  

 

Q: Do I have to be physically fit to practice yoga

A: Not at all.  Yoga is for everyone and it can be tailored to individual abilities and fitness levels.  One of yoga's aims is to improve physical fitness and flexibility. After all, we all have different bodies, fitness backgrounds, age and aims. Yoga is your own personal journey.

 

Q: What equipment shall I bring

A: I have spare yoga mats, but feel free to bring your own favourite one.
