I teach traditional Hatha yoga style. I initially learned and gained my qualification in India and then deepened my understanding at various workshops and courses in the UK and Russia.  Hatha yoga focuses on correct alignment, the coordination of breathing with movement, balance of strength and flexibility, and relaxation of the body and mind. There are a maximum of 8 people in a class. The level of practitioners is mixed, as I adapt the postures to your particular level. Beginners are welcome!


Hatha Beginner/Intermediate Class:  

Monday 09.00-10.15, Thursday 09.00-10.15, Saturday 08.30-09.45

Monday 18.00-19.15, Thursday 18.00-19.15

Cost of 1 class - £12.00, prepaid online, refunded if cancelled within 12 hours before the start of the class

The class usually starts with a warm up, followed by a sequence of asanas (postures), both for flexibility and strength that gradually prepare the body for deeper and more advanced poses. There is usually a set of core strengthening exercises in the practice. The practice concludes with relaxation (Shavasana) and a brief guided meditation. Although you may repeat the postures, the classes are always different. Depending on the group, it can be a hip opening practice, or work towards middle splits, a practice to open the shoulders and upper back, inversion of strength building and so on. I publish the plan for a week ahead on Sunday evenings. I have a WhatsApp chat group, where I announce the plan for the upcoming week, and where you can let me know if you plan to come. One to One Class @ £45, 1 hour:

A one-to -one class to tailor to your specific needs and fitness level, for example stretching and upper body strength for runners, cyclists or swimmers, a class to work towards a certain elusive challenging asana, or just time to get personal attention.  It would also make a perfect gift!  Please contact to arrange. 07888842403
